    Fresh Kid Ice- Label Owner

Christopher Wong Won (Fresh Kid Ice) was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. His family is Trinidadian and Cantonese and due to his origins he is often cited as the first Asian rapper. At the age of 12 he moved from Trinidad & Tobago to Brooklyn, New York. In 1982 he graduated from Samuel J Tilden high school, and that summer he joined the U.S. Air Force for a four year stint . While stationed in Riverside, California, in 1984, he got together with Amazing Vee and Mr. Mixx to form the rap group 2 Live Crew.

Fresh Kid Ice started Chinaman Records in 1998 as a label for artist by artists. After releasing a few albums (including Freaky Chinese with Flo Rida and others) and touring with 2 Live Crew, Fresh Kid Ice started mentoring new young artists every Monday night at the Miami Pipeline (www.miamipipeline.com).

Chinaman Records released on January 13th the first of it's kind album Breaking Glass Ceilings, with all independent artists including veterans such as Lench Mob Threi, OG Chilly Chill and JT Money as well as new artists such as Jay Allen's Miles Warren and Fame Faiella.
